Brief History
Holy Trinity has been serving God's people and Cache Valley for over 60 years. The congregation began as a ministry to students and faculty at Utah State. At one point, the worshiping group became large enough to become Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Through a generous donation from the Colorado District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, the current location and building were established.

Upcoming Events
Vicar Joe Pierson was installed as vicar on October 15, 2023. He is going through the synod's Specific Ministry Pastor Program, a distance-based, specialized program of theological education available at Concordia Seminary St. Louis after serving as a deputy sheriff for 20 years here in Cache County.
The program is available to those involved in a ministry site where they will serve as vicars for the first two years of the program. After successful completion of the first two years and received certification by the seminary faculty, students are ordained and complete two more years of instruction. Each SMP is supervised by an experienced LCMS pastor during and after his program of study. Vicar Joe will finish his second year of study sometime in 2025.
Meanwhile, we continue our weekly Bible studies and worship. About once a month, we enjoy worship with Holy Communion led by a visiting pastor. For those who may have other pastoral needs (counseling, weddings, funerals, etc.) the vicar will connect you with a LCMS pastor in the area who can assist you.
Office hours are Monday & Wednesday from 2-4 PM.
